As a health administration professional, I currently work at a charity for Type 1 Diabetes. I have also worked in community mental health care as well as a hospital environment.

My education includes a Master's of Health Administration (Community Care) from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University with a double major in Visual Art and Psychology, and a Health Records Clerk certificate from George Brown College.

-Facilitating the provision of nursing, dietitian, and social work services for the Type 1 Diabetes community
-Managing multiple phone lines, general e-mail, and faxes; aiding the executive director, diabetes educators, and development team; booking appointments; assisting patients with ADP funding applications; supporting referral processing
-Supporting a broad range of programs and events, such as the Pump program, Growing Well with Diabetes program, and Type 1 Pregnancy program, among others

-Coordinated a team of 20+ mental health practitioners, ensuring smooth operations and excellent services, and creating organizational growth
-Spearheaded administrative procedures, performed staff onboarding and training, and ensured quality of services
-Expanded accessibility of services through direct billing introduction and implementation; completed payroll

-Engaged stakeholders to determine inefficiencies, conducted an environmental scan of rehabilitation technologies, and proposed an implementation plan of the chosen technology for VHA's rehabilitation services
